Cookie Policy

"Cookies" and similar storage (localStorage) let the site remember things between visits. PredictionTalk uses them in two buckets — strictly necessary, and optional analytics. You control the optional bucket via the banner at the bottom of the page (or below).
1. Strictly necessary (always on)
These exist so the site works. We can't turn them off — but they also never track you across other sites.
- Supabase auth session — stored in localStorage. Keeps you signed in across page loads. Cleared on sign-out.
- Cookie consent record — a single localStorage key (
pt_cookie_consent) so we don't show the banner on every page load. - Cloudflare — sets
__cf_bmand similar short-lived cookies to distinguish humans from bots and to keep DDoS protection working.
2. Optional — analytics (off by default)
Loaded only if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. You can change your mind any time using the controls below.
- Google Analytics 4 (
_ga,_ga_*) — aggregate page-view counts and traffic sources. - Microsoft Clarity (
_clck,_clsk) — heatmaps and session replay (with masking; we never see what you type into forms).
3. Manage your preference
Use the buttons below to update your choice. The page will reload so the change takes effect.
